When using pramiracetam (or any other nootropic you’ll encounter on BestNootropicsNow.com), arguably the most important thing to get right is the dosage. It needs to be pretty well dialed in to experience the most benefit. And while it’s not difficult to do, there are a few key things to keep in mind.
Pramiracetam’s Potency
The first thing to take into account is that pramiracetam is a lot stronger than many other smart drugs. As an example, I compare pramiracetam and Noopept here. It is considered to be one of, if not the, most potent substance in the racetam nootropics family. It’s fairly common practice to upgrade to it after starting off with one of the weaker products.
Estimates indicate pramiracetam is about 30 times stronger than the original nootropic piracetam. Its concentration is just so much higher. So, you need much less of it to experience the same effects you would when using a weaker nootropic.
Because pramiracetam is as strong as it is, it’s easy to and important not to overdo it. You don’t want to accidentally end up taking too much, as that may lead to side effects. That said, going with a dose that’s too small will not get you the results for which you’re looking.
The Recommended Dosage of Pramiracetam
Generally speaking, the recommended pramiracetam dosage for most individuals is between 200 and 400 milligrams per day. Depending on your preference, this amount can be taken all at once or split up into several smaller portions.
While that is the recommended amount, if you are new to pramiracetam, it’s best to start off slow. Then little by little work your way up, but only if you feel it’s necessary. The idea is you want to see how your body and brain react.
When I say start off slow, I mean go with as little as 50 milligrams per day. Maintain that dose for an entire week, then bump it up to 100 milligrams the second week. You can then increase again by 50 milligrams every week until you’re experiencing the desired benefits. That will be your ideal dosage.
It’s strongly discouraged to go above 400 milligrams per day. That’s side effects territory. Adverse effects of pramiracetam may include things like nausea, headaches, increased anxiety, general discomfort and a few others. I touch more on these in another posts here. To put it simply, don’t overdo it.
If pramiracetam is a nootropic you’re considering, it’s always a good idea to consult with your doctor first. They can tell you with greater certainty if it’s the right product for you. Your doctor can also help you figure out your dosage. That process will probably more or less look like the one I described above. Pramiracetam is one of the best and safest nootropics, and worth a look for anyone interested in improving their focus, memory and learning ability.
